Meant for courses you run
This layout suits the organiser of a short course who wants to hand people something to keep: a weekend first-aid class, a pottery term, a coding bootcamp for teenagers, an internal training programme. The stripes and stamp give it the look of a completion diploma without pretending to be a university award.
Please note: a certificate made here is not a school, college or university qualification. Do not use it to suggest a degree or accredited award that was not earned, and do not imitate a real institution’s name or seal.
The layout
- The word “Diploma” sits in a bold navy band across the upper part of the page; both title lines can be rewritten to name the course.
- The recipient’s name appears in large blue capitals.
- A presentation line and a short description explain what was completed.
- The date and your drawn signature sit at the bottom, either side of the round “Certified” stamp.
Making it believable and honest
State the course name, the number of hours or sessions and the date range in the description, for example “for completing the six-session Beginner Watercolour course, March to April”. Details like that make the certificate useful to the recipient and make it obvious it comes from your own course.
