Create Heavy Package Label
A prominent heavy-package caution sticker with an optional manually entered weight note and machine-readable package reference.
This design draws attention to a package before someone handles it. Enter a brief factual weight or handling note based on information you already know. The template does not weigh the parcel, calculate a safe lifting method or determine which workplace or carrier requirements apply.

Use a measured value rather than a guess
If you include the weight, enter a checked figure and its unit in the note, such as "Package weight: 18 kg." The label does not convert or verify that value. Keep the main caution readable and avoid adding an unsupported claim about safe lifting. Any handling plan needs to reflect the contents, packaging, people and equipment involved through your own procedures. This general warning can support communication, but a printed triangle does not replace an assessment or an agreed process for moving the package.
Make the caution visible before the lift
A useful placement allows a person to see the message before picking up the box, rather than discovering it only on the underside afterwards. Choose an accessible flat surface that does not obscure the address or carrier label. If the contents or packing change, recheck any weight note instead of reusing an old value. Duplicate copies can be helpful for the same package, but keep them consistent. The form does not book a heavy-goods service, specify a lifting aid or decide whether a package is acceptable to your chosen carrier.
Before printing a weight caution
- Check the package weight with an appropriate method.
- Include the unit with any printed number.
- Keep the note factual and concise.
- Place the warning where it can be seen before handling.
- Follow your actual handling and shipping arrangements.
Identify the package independently of its weight
The barcode contains your reference rather than calculating a weight record. A custom QR can carry another short value or a suitable instructions URL, but it does not create a lifting assessment or update an external system. Use the code options only when your team has a defined way to use the returned value; an instruction-only version is also available.
The generator creates QR codes and Code 128 barcodes locally. Both use your reference by default; optional custom QR text can instead contain your own short URL or text. A blank reference produces a stable internal ID derived from the submitted label details. These are your identifiers, not official carrier tracking numbers. The tool does not buy postage, reserve a shipment or send the encoded data to a code-generation service.
Check the caution on paper
The label is 4 by 3 inches and uses large wording beside an original caution icon. Print the single version at actual size or select repeated landscape sheet copies for trimming. Check the smallest weight note as carefully as the headline, including decimal points and units. The black-and-white palette is a practical choice for monochrome output, while colour accents remain optional. Scan an enabled code from the printed label and preserve its white margins. Choose paper or adhesive stock suited to where the package will be handled.
Heavy-package sticker answers
Will the form calculate the package weight?
No. Enter a value you have measured or otherwise confirmed, with its unit. The generator prints that note and does not verify the weight, classify the parcel or determine an appropriate handling method.
Is this an official carrier heavy-parcel label?
No. It is a general supplementary caution. Use any specific labels, service arrangements and procedures required by your carrier or workplace in addition to the information you choose to print here.
