Create Local Delivery Label
A readable label for locally organised deliveries, combining a destination, short delivery note and reference for your own dispatch records.
For a local route or your own driver, a clear label can reduce questions at the door. Give the real recipient and address, then add one useful arrival instruction or delivery window. The label describes your plan; it does not notify the customer, assign a driver or book a courier.

Use an instruction that helps at the destination
A note such as "Ring reception" or "Enter through the courtyard" can be useful where the address alone leaves a final uncertainty. Keep the actual street address complete and put the instruction in its own note area. A time window should reflect an arrangement you have made, not a promise created by printing it. If the recipient needs to receive a call or confirm access, handle that directly through your delivery process. Avoid publishing private access codes or unnecessary personal details on the outside of a package.
Build consistency across a small delivery round
Use references that your dispatcher and driver recognise from the day's orders. Check the label against the correct package before loading, especially when several recipients have similar names or nearby addresses. This collection generates one recipient at a time; the sheet options repeat one destination rather than importing a route list. If plans change, produce a fresh checked label and remove ambiguity from the old version. The PDF is a useful physical identifier, but route order, proof of delivery and any customer notifications still belong to the systems or arrangements you already use.
A local-route check
- Verify the complete street and unit details.
- Add only a short useful arrival instruction.
- Use an agreed delivery window if one is printed.
- Keep private access information off the parcel.
- Match each reference to the correct loaded package.
Keep route references separate from live tracking
Your codes can hold the delivery reference your team uses to identify the job. They do not show a driver's location or create a tracking page. A custom QR can point to an existing public information page if that is useful, but do not imply that the generator is publishing a live delivery status. Check the encoded value with the reader your team will use.
The generator creates QR codes and Code 128 barcodes locally. Both use your reference by default; optional custom QR text can instead contain your own short URL or text. A blank reference produces a stable internal ID derived from the submitted label details. These are your identifiers, not official carrier tracking numbers. The tool does not buy postage, reserve a shipment or send the encoded data to a code-generation service.
Print a practical last-mile identifier
Select the exact 4 by 6-inch PDF for a matching printer or choose repeated landscape sheets for trimming. Keep the delivery note short enough to remain comfortable to read after printing. Test the label on a filled parcel so you can see whether it sits flat and stays visible during handling. Actual-size printing preserves the code proportions. A spare identical copy can be useful for the same package, but remember that different customer destinations require different PDFs. Check the paper reference as well as the machine code before the parcels leave.
Local delivery label answers
Will customers receive a delivery notification?
No. The form produces a PDF and does not send messages, publish status updates or connect a driver with a customer. Continue to communicate through your own delivery process.
Can I include a time window?
Yes. A concise agreed window can go in the short note. The tool does not reserve or confirm that time, so check it against the arrangement you have made before printing.
