Create Keep Dry Label
A moisture-handling reminder with an original umbrella illustration, a short note and optional codes for your own package reference.
The keep-dry sticker communicates a simple request clearly: protect this package from rain and moisture during handling and storage. It can support your packing process, but the printed symbol does not make a carton weatherproof or replace appropriate protection for the contents.

Say what matters about this package
Use the short note to reinforce a useful handling instruction, such as keeping the package away from wet surfaces. The fixed heading and umbrella already establish the main message, so a long explanation is not needed. Choose words that describe the actual packed item rather than making claims about its protection. If a parcel needs a particular environment, communicate that through the service and packing arrangements you have made. This general sticker does not measure conditions or verify that the contents have remained dry during the journey.
Apply the reminder where it will remain visible
Place the sticker on a suitable flat area without covering addresses or carrier codes. Think about how the parcel will be carried and stored; a message hidden underneath another shipping document is less useful. If the package will face moisture, select appropriate label materials through your own printing and packing process. A PDF design itself says nothing about the durability of paper, adhesive or ink. Remove old contradictory messages when reusing a box and check the completed package after all labels are attached.
A moisture-aware packing check
- Use packaging suited to the contents and environment.
- Choose an accurate short handling note.
- Keep the umbrella and heading visible.
- Check the actual label material you are using.
- Leave address and carrier code areas unobstructed.
Reference codes for the package, not its condition
An internal reference can associate this sticker with an order, kit or stock item. It does not provide a moisture reading or record environmental history. Keep the default shared QR and barcode reference if that helps your packing records; otherwise choose no codes. Custom QR text should have a clear purpose and be suitable for anyone who handles the parcel to read.
The generator creates QR codes and Code 128 barcodes locally. Both use your reference by default; optional custom QR text can instead contain your own short URL or text. A blank reference produces a stable internal ID derived from the submitted label details. These are your identifiers, not official carrier tracking numbers. The tool does not buy postage, reserve a shipment or send the encoded data to a code-generation service.
Test the print and the material separately
The 4 by 3-inch sticker is supplied as an exact-size single PDF or repeated copies on landscape A4/Letter. Print at actual size and check the heading, umbrella and small note. If you expect moisture exposure, assess the paper, adhesive and printer output you are using rather than assuming ordinary office paper will hold up. Keep the machine codes black on their white backgrounds and preserve the surrounding margins when trimming. A paper scan test checks the code, while a material test addresses a different practical question.
Keep-dry sticker questions
Is the downloaded label waterproof?
The PDF is a design file, not a material. Water resistance depends on the paper or label stock, ink, printer and application you choose. The umbrella communicates an instruction rather than a waterproofing claim.
Can the QR monitor moisture?
No. The QR encodes your chosen reference or text. It does not contain a sensor, record conditions or report what happened to the package during storage or delivery.
