Create This Side Up Label
An orientation sticker with original upward arrows, a clear fixed heading and optional package-identification codes.
Use this label to communicate the intended upright orientation of a prepared package. The arrows and words work together so the request is visible before someone reads a small note. This is a supplementary instruction, not a carrier-specific guarantee that the package will remain upright throughout transit.

Decide the correct orientation before attaching the sticker
The arrows only help if the label itself is applied in the intended direction. Identify which surface is the top of the actual packed item, then attach the sticker so the arrows agree with it. A short note can reinforce the instruction without adding a competing direction. Keep the message accurate when a box is repacked or reused; an old arrow facing a different way can create confusion. Any packaging needed to support the contents should be arranged independently of the sticker. The template does not inspect or determine the correct orientation for you.
Make more than one copy work together
Identical copies can be useful on more than one visible side, but they need to point towards the same top. Check the whole package rather than judging each sticker separately while it lies on a table. Leave the delivery address and carrier markings clear. If your handling process requires specific transport marks or a defined service, follow that process rather than treating this decorative arrow layout as a substitute. The optional package reference can identify the item within your own records without changing the handling request.
An orientation check before dispatch
- Establish the actual top of the packed item.
- Apply the arrows in the correct direction.
- Make multiple copies agree with one another.
- Remove conflicting old orientation messages.
- Keep destination and carrier labels visible.
Optional identification beside the arrows
Use a short package or order reference when the orientation sticker also needs to be matched to a packing record. The code value remains an ordinary internal identifier. If identification is unnecessary, switch codes off and keep the sticker focused on the arrows and note. A custom QR can carry your own short instructions link, but it cannot enforce an upright handling service.
The generator creates QR codes and Code 128 barcodes locally. Both use your reference by default; optional custom QR text can instead contain your own short URL or text. A blank reference produces a stable internal ID derived from the submitted label details. These are your identifiers, not official carrier tracking numbers. The tool does not buy postage, reserve a shipment or send the encoded data to a code-generation service.
Keep the arrows large enough to notice
The supplied sticker is 4 by 3 inches and has its own exact-size PDF. Landscape A4 and Letter options repeat identical copies with outside cut marks. Print at 100 percent and check the arrow direction again when applying the paper, not only in the preview. A monochrome version preserves the high-contrast icon for thermal-compatible printing. If codes are enabled, keep their quiet white margins away from folds and cuts. Test a scan on the attached label after choosing a flat place for it.
This-side-up sticker questions
Can I use copies on several sides of a box?
Yes. The repeated sheet makes identical labels, but you must apply them so all arrows identify the same top. Check the assembled package for contradictory directions before dispatch.
Is this a replacement for required orientation markings?
No. It is a general supplementary instruction. Use any specified markings, packaging and service arrangements required for your actual contents and shipment through the relevant process.
