Create International Shipping Address Label
A destination-led address label for cross-border parcels, with room for a complete address, country name and your own shipment reference.
Use this template to present international address information clearly, especially when the destination format differs from your everyday domestic parcels. The address field can include the locality, region, postal code and country in the order appropriate to the recipient. It is an address layout, not customs paperwork.

Let the destination format lead
Start from an address supplied or confirmed by the recipient rather than rearranging it to resemble a domestic form. Keep apartment numbers, locality information and the destination country intact. The large address area gives the recipient details priority, but it does not validate a postal code or translate a location. If you need to use characters outside your usual address set, check their appearance in the generated PDF before printing. Do not add a customs description or declared value to the address just because the parcel crosses a border; those belong in the shipment process that requires them.
Keep customs and carrier documents separate
The label can help identify the package, but the carrier still supplies the booked shipment label and any required process for customs information. Do not interpret an internal QR or barcode as evidence that postage or declarations are complete. Keep your own reference aligned with the order record so you can associate documents later. A short note can repeat the destination country or provide a brief practical instruction, while longer commercial details should remain on the appropriate invoice or shipping documents. Check the source address again whenever a customer asks you to change the destination.
A cross-border address check
- Use the recipient-confirmed address order.
- Include the destination country visibly.
- Keep unit numbers and postal codes complete.
- Preview any accented or unfamiliar characters.
- Complete the carrier's separate shipment requirements.
Internal references across borders
Your barcode can identify an order or dispatch reference irrespective of the destination. It is not a customs barcode, routing code or carrier tracking number. Use the same internal reference across your own packing records, and keep custom QR contents short enough for a clean print. If the QR points to a website, choose one intended for the people receiving the parcel.
The generator creates QR codes and Code 128 barcodes locally. Both use your reference by default; optional custom QR text can instead contain your own short URL or text. A blank reference produces a stable internal ID derived from the submitted label details. These are your identifiers, not official carrier tracking numbers. The tool does not buy postage, reserve a shipment or send the encoded data to a code-generation service.
Check characters as well as dimensions
Print one proof and inspect every line of the international address, particularly diacritics or place names you do not type regularly. The supplied font has finite character coverage; use an accurate readable form supported by your workflow if a character is not rendered correctly. Select the single 4 by 6-inch PDF for a matching printer or the repeated landscape A4/Letter format for trimming. Keep the country line away from cuts, folds and tape glare. Test the code from the printed label rather than assuming the address and machine reference serve the same purpose.
International address label questions
Does this generate a customs declaration?
No. It formats an address and your internal reference. Customs declarations, carrier bookings, postage and official tracking must be handled through the appropriate shipping service or process for your parcel.
Can I enter accented place names?
You can enter Unicode text. Check the generated PDF because the supplied font may not cover every writing system. The preview is the place to confirm that the recipient's address remains accurate and readable.
